Travel section related? Book soon as I'm sure the seats will all be occupied.

I don't know if these prices are just for Chuseok, but I looked into it and it's extremely expensive, about 344,000 won. You'd be better off flying to Japan.

this page is your friend...
http://www.jrbeetle.co.jp/english/

There do seem to be some seats available but not many and just afternoon departure and morning coming back.

here is a list of all the ferries...
http://www.busanpa.com/Service.do?id=w_coast_03a

here is the beetle korean website (on this site there are appernently all times available)
http://www.mirejet.com/

It says the cost return going on friday 4th and coming back Sunday 6th is 230 000 won. This is the normal price...there is no Chuseok surcharge so you got a bit ripped off.

Unless you live in Busan, you're probably too late. I was thinking of taking the ferry over and checked for ktx tickets to Busan in mid August and they were all sold out, Mughungwha and Saemaeul too. So make sure you can get to the ferry terminal BEFORE you commit to a ferry ticket.

That's about how much I was finding them for. I put in more days so maybe that's why mine was more expensive? I was looking at Fri-Mon instead of Fri-Sunday.
