If you get the tutor you have to do worksheets for all 20 lessons and then you dont have to take a test at the end. And yes, the answers are on here, although some are incomplete so you can't cheat 100%. |

I got my TEFL certificate with ITTT and they offer excellent services and assistance.
The course was very detailed and took me 3 months to complete a 100-hour certificate. Well worth the effort and looks nice on your resume.
The teaching techniques in particular were very worthwhile. |

just do the non-tutor option. its cheaper, easier, less work. i only did two of the worksheets, then decided to take the test one weekend. didnt study at all. its open book...just refer to the study materials they send you while youre doing the test. it took me 6 hours to finish the test, thats while watching k-dramas. 6 hours is a lot better than lord knows how long it would take to finish all 16 or 20, i forgot how many worksheets there were.
i think as a native speaker and supposedly having a ba degree, if you cant pass one of these tefl tests without studying. your hometown's and uni education system failed you. |

Well, that's one way of doing it, although I question whether or not a university education provides you different methodologies of teaching your native language in a foreign country to different age groups.
Take the time to read and study the material. After teaching here in Korea for 5 years, I took a lot from what the course was offering and now apply it to my classroom teaching. For what it's worth, I'm a better teacher for it, and wouldn't have been if I didn't do a little study.
You'll be spending some money, so make the most of it. Don't be lazy. |
