I'm going back to Toronto in November and would like to bring a shiny new hiphone (perhaps the mini) or CECT I9 back with me. It would serve as a good media player for the flight and would mean I don't have to scramble to get a phone once I'm back. My Canadian cell phone is no longer functioning. I do have the sim card so this is something I'd like to get before I get back (I never cancelled my contract, just reduced it to a $6/month plan with Rogers).
I know my chances of finding one of these in Korea are slim to none since everything is CDMA here but just in case I thought I'd ask... are there any vendors that would sell a phone that wouldn't even function in Korea here?
If not.. my next option is online. I found this site that has a great selection and good prices: http://www.bulldogimports.com but when I go to order from there it asks me to pay via paypal before I even provide them my shipping info! I feel a little uncomfortable doing that. Does anyone else know of any other places that will ship one of these online? My searches only reveal wholesale sellers who wanna ship 10+ units at once.
Thanks in advance! |
