Hello everybody,

Was just wondering, are there plenty of good quality (resaonably priced) gyms in Seoul? What sort of price am I looking to pay? Want somewhere decent enough (without sawdust on the floor and full of beefcakes lol)

....may be a stupid question but!!

There are plenty of gyms ranging anywhere from W50,000 up to W150,000/200,000. You can usually sign up for different lengths - 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, etc. and get a discount. The gyms I've seen are fairly well maintained and have pretty good equipment. The only problem is there'll probably be a lot of people just taking up equipment and not really doing anything.

I you are just looking to do free weights and you don't care too much about new equipment, look for a smaller gym. The bigger gyms, like back home, are full of people showing up just to say they went. Smaller gyms don't suffer as much from this.

I found a gym 30 seconds away from my place and I only ever have to wait to use the pullup/cable machine every once in a while.
