I need help choosing my TESOL options!!
I am going to do a TESOL back home in Canada this winter. I'll be working for the Yeosu Education Office in January. My recruiter says an online 100 hour TESOL will qualify me to move up a notch on the payscale.
I'm not sure if I believe her.
There are no in-class TESOLs when I'm home, so I'm thinking about my options. I can fly to Toronto to take a week long 100 hr intensive course. Or I can take a combination course, 100 hours online, 20 hours in class (also in Toronto). Flights are expensive (350-700$).
The combination course will save me alot of money. But I'm still worried how it will be accepted by my new employers. Also, I'm one day considering teaching in a different country, so I don't want my TESOL to be questioned.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?
Thanks! |
