pretty self-explanatory. i know there are lots of places to study korean in seoul, but i'm 90 mins away so that's not really ideal. are there any places in chungnam that you know offer english classes? i've seen somethign about korean language classes at CNU in daejeon, but the site seems to be last updated in like 2007 so i'm not sure if they still have a program over there. |

I knew some people who took languages classes at CNU one or two semesters ago and it seemed quite intense. If you want free classes once a week I know a couple of churches which provides it. The only one I can remember the name of is Hanbit Church close to Hanbit apartments (20 minute walk from CNU maybe). I believe they have free lessons at 7 o'clock every Saturday or something like that, but I've never gone there myself so not sure.
At KAIST you have a short 12 session course with sign up period right now for 125,000 won which you can find here: http://lang.kaist.ac.kr/ if you click on Korean camp.
I'm sure there are plenty of other opportunity to learn Korean in Daejeon. You definitely don't have to go to Seoul if you want some part time Korean course. |
