My girlfriend and I are doing a reverse Chuseok and going into Seoul from Bundang this weekend. She's been severely missing having a bath tub and we have a few Lush bath bombs we need to get rid of. Plus we just want to find a place to veg out for 24 hours while taking in a few sites during the exodus.

Does anyone have any recommendations in or near Insadong? Or perhaps an amazingly relaxing love motel with nice surroundings in Seoul?

Thanks!

check out the Nu Nu Hotel (누누 호텔) near jongno 3-ga. it might run you around 80,000 won a night for the suite but should be well worth it (very large and luxurious bathroom as well as a nice tv set-up, etc.). it's also quite close to insadong.

you can get there by going out exit 1 of jongno 3-ga station and then taking a short, non-descript alley to a back street (sorry, i realize how vague that is) and then a cool little tunnel away from the street to get into the hotel proper.

the hotel's quite big and noticeable from a distance but it could be a little hard to locate when right up next to buildings on the side of the road it's on, so you might want to find it on the skyline first and then try to locate the alley i'm talking about. i apologize for giving such vague and complicated directions but locating it on the skyline and then just moving in that direction was how i found it myself the first time. let me know if you have any questions though or need more info on how to get there.

Lots of the motels on this page are for the Insadong area, 서울 종로구 is written under the ones that are in that area. Nu Nu is listed as the sixth one along, next to Sheel Motel.

Hi there,

Sorry to hijack this thread, but after looking at those rooms on that site, we were wondering what we could get for 40000 - 50000won for a room near insadong? Actually, we will have a couple family members visiting and wouldn't mind squeezing the 4 of us into one of those nice rooms for around 80000-100000won! Any suggestions from that website? We want to stay as close to insadong as possible! At the moment we have booked into a backpackers costing us 85000won for the room for the night.

Thanks in advance!

Ok, so this room looks cool, just wish we could read Korean! I presume it's in/near insadong??

Can anyone tell us how much it would cost to squeeze 4 people in here for one friday and one saturday night??

thanks!!!

Looks to be 60,000-120,000/night on the weekend depending on the style of room you get. I don't know if they'd let you squeeze 4 people in there. You could get a co-worker to ask. However the rooms in the pictures don't match the pricing descriptions, so I have no idea.
