who youre interview with depends on who you applied with, for instance which recruiters. it usually last close to 10mins and they ask you very basic questions just to test your english(my opinion). they ask you to describe yourself, why you want to teach, any teachin experience, how would you handle 30+ students in a class if they get rowdy, etc... just simple questions. dont worry about it too much, as long as youre breathing and is able to converse back in english, you'll be fine. |

Haha.
I'm working with gone2korea...they already 'pre-interviewed' me I guess you could say. But they made it sound like an interview with EPIK would be 30-45 minutes! I was like...what could they possibly talk to me about for that amount of time? |

In my EPIK interview (I was REJECTED), a gyopo with fantastic English grilled me for 30 min, corporate style. What is my plan for 5 years, 10 years, my strength, weakness, teaching style, how to handle misbehaviour, teaching experience, knowledge about Korean education. He finished with "We'll inform the recruiter of our decision." |

Was this a phone interview? Why do you think you were rejected? |

It was a phone interview.
As for why I got rejected: there are many reasons to not like my candidature. If I had to choose one it'll be, on paper I am bad. I have terrible academic records. I have awful job history. I sound bad over the phone as well with a nasal voice. |

It's all good. I did get a job offer because nobody wanted to do it. After I applied the school waited two weeks to see if anybody else applied. Not one applied and the next semester was about to start, so I got it. |
