other than eating, drinking or poking, what can I do on a friday nite in s.korea, at around 9 pm??
i know i just eliminated 99% of my options, but I'm new to korea, and i don't know what the locals do |

well to the best of my knowledge they don't do anal sex, so you'll have come up with something much better to go along with liquor.
I'll bet the local PC Bang will be crowded  |

Are you saying you want to copy the locals? They don't do much beside eat, drink, and "poke"...
...Same as anywhere else.
And why did you have to mention anal sex? Is there something you know about Korea that the rest of us don't? |

but i assumed somebody would have suggested anal sex as a friday nite activity.
and i'm not on any 12 step program, or whatever.....
i'm meeting up with a lady friend and it is too late for dinner and we went for drinks last time. so i was just wondering what else i could do on a friday nite. |

Seems logical enough. What are friends for? 
Seriously though... coffee, books, movies, etc. All the other wholesome activities will do, since the anal sex probably won't take all that long... |

How come nobody has mentioned the norebang 'to sing a song' yet?
Talk about a 'wild n crazy' activity the locals do. OP, I'm sure you can belt out a 'trot' and if you're lucky, you might even be on the TV/speakers in the enteranceway out on the street! |

There are noraebongs, hofs, and restaurants, but people go in groups and it's always a maekju and soju soaked night. I get nothing out of going to these restaurants and hofs. Luckily I only rarely have to go. I'd hate to be a business man here.
My idea is take a relaxing night at one the large jimilbangs. Go in there, shower, go workout in the gym for over an hour, then go relax for a while in a pool or sauna, walk around and see what else sparks your interest, check out the different rooms, then take a shower, have a lite snack, and either stay the night or go back to your apartment or go for a late night movie or shopping if anything is still open late. I'd love to have one of these jimilbangs near me. The big ones in Seoul are foreigner friendly and won't present such an awkward situation you might find in a small place.
