I'm in need of sour cream.

Homeplus (at least up where I am) doesn't sell it. Nor does the Army Surplus store.

Is there anywhere that anyone knows of (preferably north of Seoul, or in northern Seoul) that sells sour cream?

Puuuuuulllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeze?!?!?!

It is usually at Kim's Club. Hannam Market (one of the entrance stores) has the best I've found for having a decent expiration date. COmes from off the base. Inside the mart is the Denmark brand.
E-Mart is hit and miss. Generally miss, but I think Yangjae E-Mart usually has it. But then, Costco is just across the street. Watch for expiration. Hard to down those big Denmark tubs if they expire in 4 days.

Yogurt can be substituted in some recipes. Or you could try adding vinegar or lemon juice to milk.

Yongsan Station Emart, Seoul Station Lotte Mart. Of course, they are the big containers, but you didn't specify size now, did you?

If you can't find it and you don't want to make your own, you can always use plain yogurt. The only one we have found that does not have sugar in it is Danmark Plain Yogurt. It's not sour creme, but it's close enough.
