I wanted to buy the latest model from Sony but although it came out in North America, Sony Korea has no plan to get it here.
So, I'm wondering if there is a place which imports camcorders on its own where I could find the Sony one I want.
Otherwise, where would be the best place to get the best deal on a Sony? In Korea, there is the sibling to the model I want. The only difference being that it has only 32Gb of internal memory instead of 64Gb like the one I wanted to get.
Should I try to shop using the Internet, go to Technomart or Yongsang? |

The Yongsan vendors do gray-market stuff from Japan. You might get lucky there.
Why not tell us the model number, then we can help you search online....... |

Sorry, I didn't think about posting the model number. I didn't think anyone could help me find a specific model, but who knows!
The model I wanted to get with the 64Gb of memory is the HDR-CX520V... in North America.
Its sibling, with 32GB, is the HDR-CX500V. That one is available in Korea; although, the model number is slightly different: HDR-CX500. I don't know for sure what the "V" means, but I guess it's just a different model number depending on the country.
Anyway, if anyone could tell me where I could get the camera I'm hoping to find in Korea or where I could get a good price for my second choice, then that would be more than welcome. |

There's a whole floor of camcorders in the Yongsan main building. Walk around. The guys will pester you and promise they can get you whatever you want. Let them try!! |
