| Does anyone know if bank cards will work during Chuseok? I have a Standard Chartered visa check card and will be needing it while in Thailand. I called the bank and they assured me it would be no problem. Well, there was a problem last year (not with Standard Charted though) with my Korean check card during Chuseok. |

| Every year at chuseok there seems to be some problem with the banks. I haven't heard of anything this year, but it never hurts to plan ahead and take out a little extra cash. |
