| She's on that "family" show nearly every day. IMHO, she's hotter when she's not too done up or posed. It's like first she's model-hot, and then she's on national TV wearing sweats and making a fool of herself and she's even hotter. |

I'm a little surprised they still use her as a model considering how so many Koreans I talk to say she's "old" and "not skinny"  I certainly think she's super-sexy, but if the people I talk to are representative of the average Korean, why does she still get advertising contracts? |

that family show is on once a week.. Its on sundays..
I personally don't see what all the fuss is about that commercial was very mellow.. didnt see her trying to look sexy, or like a hooker!
she is just being cute and funny as she usually does for her tv audiance
when she does her music, some songs she might put on the hooker boots and leathers.. but usually Hyori is the commerical star. she is the star for all ages, and usually keeps it down...
but it is sad what happened to the music industry in this past 10 years..
its all about SEX appeal now.. music talent is down on the list... |

ask any women over 30 what they think of her..
why does she get advertising contracts? simple really.. she is bankable!
and also she is probably the most recognized and famous female talent in korea..
I curious how the hell, PARK TE HEE gets contracts.. a girl who is not even good looking, hasnt made any movies or dramas, no albums, her claim to fame is graduated from SNU and now she is the biggest commerical model
KIM YOON AH, I can see why advertisers want her to endorse products..
Hyori also, she is 30 years old, and offers a clean image and is loved by all.. |

True, but it but it was more like the late sixties when image started becoming more important than the music. Personally I blame the eighties for the current situation. |

You mean KIM Tae-hee? She was the star of a very, very popular drama a few years back...one of the country's highest rated shows, I believe.
I think her popularity stems from her "purity" and the fact that going sleeveless is about as "sexy" as she's gone. Ah, and she has the "small face" that so many blockheads rave about.
That, and when she drops the "cutesy" stuff and gets done up, she is absolutely stunning...

She's alright, but that particular photo didn't thrill me.
And the current semi life-sized phone store cut-out of her wearing knee-high high-heeled leather boots is a bit of a disappointment. They really went a bad way with her face and hair on that one. |
