Finally convinced myself that I need new glasses (It helped that I forgot my old pair in New Zealand)..
I'm looking for a good english speaking optometrist.. I don't want my eye exams to exist of "ok-ok-ok.. so-so" on my part when describing how well I see during an eye exam.. I'd like to describe exactly what I'm feeling/seeing and I'd like them to reciprocate just as clearly..
I'm in the Uijeongbu area, but if there's any where you can recommend in Seoul, I'm willing to travel...
Rumour is that glasses in Korea are cheaper to buy... is this true? |

Not sure english communication is gonna result in a more accurate result -- its not so hard to indicate if a or b is clearer. Optometrists I've dealt with all had a modicum of english anyway, & an opthalmologist with a good command of english came up with a bang-on same prescription for a relatively complicated sight condition. I'd guess you can trust anyone in any reputable looking shop.
Yeh, glasses are a bargain here. |
