I was in Hongdae this weekend, and literally as I was walking in the entrance of GoGo's a stocky american dude purposely bumped half his body in to me as he was leavin, so I give him a look like "watch where you're going", and then he did the "WHAT YOU WANNA GO!?" look and without any hesitation punched me in the face. I was so shocked and slightly innebriated (not heavily), and my nose was bleeding, I didn't even know how to react... Then he walks out the door and does THE SAME THING to another dude and punches him in the face a couple times leaving him with a bloody face.

WHAT THE $!@#?

That's a disgrace. Look through Facebook and find his photo (could take 6 months, or you could be lucky and find him within minutes)

Then post his ugly mug here.

p.s. Saw another fight in Hongdae on Friday night (2 koreans).

Maybe he just found out his g/f cheated on him.

Laughing Seriously I knew one guy who did that. His g/f finished with him in the reception area of the nightclub. He was so angry he punched the first guy to walk through the door as he was leaving...and pushed everyone else out the way.
Bottom line...clubs and bars are magnets for the mad, sad, bad, crazy, drunk, and idiotic.

Hongdae is full of nothing but wankbags after a certain hour on the weekends. It's even better if you're a woman. That's why even though my little crevice out here in Incheon can get monotonous at times, I usually just stick close to home to do my drinking. I might have to have the same conversation a dozen times a night, but at least I know I'm not going to get raped and pillaged by some overgrown frat boy.

I'd rather pepper spray someone and try to get away from the scene. Here in Korea foreigners get in trouble regardless of whether they started the fight. In all situations where violence is present, I try to do anything to separate myself from it and get away. Think calling the cops will do you any good? How are you going to speak to them, let them know of your location and the aggressor?

I am sorry that you got hit, but you were a Beta acting like an Alpha male. He was an Ahole that is for certain, but when you see an agressive A hole you don't try and stare him down. You just move out of the way and keep walking.

I kind of equate it to the guy who pulls a gun on another guy who wasn't planning on using it, just threatening and then gets shot.

He called your bluff. You really shouldn't have stared at him.

I know that I might sound like a puss cake, but if I am not going to attack someone, I just ignore them and keep on my way. If you kept walking in the place and didn't respond, you most likely wouldn't have been punched.

I am not putting the blame on you entirely, but it does take two to fight.

Just let it go and forgive this guy otherwise it will eat you up and you will probably exact some kind of revenge on someone else. Or end up going postal on the whole village.

Giving some jerk a disapproving look does not deserve a punch in the face. It's not anything like pulling a gun.

its not about deserviing it, but dats da the rules of da street baby Wink

someone bumps you, dont make eye contact and just walk on. best way to avoid a fight. if you're gonna shoot them a look, you're probably gonna be fighting whether you like it or not.

That's right. Men use CS gas.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought Buddy Bradley was back in town.

Except he got punched out by a chick.
