Ron Paul schools John Stewart. All Stewart can do is splutter "Oh but who will protect us from the big bad business man?"

He's a very intelligent man with a very good grasp on his issue of interest, and to boot he's got a very strong case regarding the Federal Reserve (which even I don't defend). It's no particular shocker that he'd do well in a discussion with a comedian, even if he's a fairly intelligent comedian.

Splutter? I thought it was a very good interview. You seem to suggest that Stewart set himself in dogged (but pathetic) opposition to Paul. It seems to me he was just allowing the man the opportunity to express his very interesting views.

uhh... not sure what you were watching, but Stewart had high praise for Ron Paul. He asked simple questions about libertarianism that many Americans have misconceptions about, and was not critical of Congressman Paul at all.

Pathetic attempt at spin. Ron Paul fans don't agree with you, and they loved Stewart as an interviewer.

Yea, Rusty was rusty on this one. Stewart allowed him to talk, no problems. But if you're looking to comedians to provide yourself with incisive interviews... oh dear...

It's a good question. Who will?

When a boss pulls something funny at work, the first question anyone asks is, "Is that legal?"--an appeal to government's role.

But this isn't what is happening. The state is not protecting citizens from corporate plunder but helping the corporations plunder the citizens.

I would have asked Ron Paul about the civil rights movement.
