Well, I don't know if they'd really object to it. I think the things Koreans do is a lot worse than the things we do/talk about. Maybe they'd agree and we could forever live in peace.

I meant that quite literally -- they will actually love it.

Do you consider that a good or bad thing?

Meh. I'm not here to judge other people's personal pursuits while in country. I will say that your sort of boozey outlook on things will probably make a hell of a lot more interesting of a book than my, "I actually came here to teach English and go to bed before midnight on weeknights" story would make.

Well, I came here to drink. But I also go to bed before midnight. I take teaching very seriously and drinking very seriously. I just don't let them interfere with each other. Very Happy

Good enough for me.

I have to say, teaching seems to be interfering with my drinking lately though. Gotta get that sorted out.

Wonderful. I was just thinking about how we have such a great reputation as English teachers here.

Btw, you can't scream in hangeul (or "hongul"). Hangeul is the writing system, not the Korean language.

Little Lisa - Korea is sparkling too, right? If Korea is actually sparkling, then I'm actually screaming in Hongul.

You just totally creeped me out with that.

My best friend, who came to Korea with me but who is now back in New York, used to quote that all the time when we were out drinking here in Korea.

I am in agreement with Lisa. If you want to use the Korean word for Korean, say "hangeukuh"
