I'm hanging my head in... in... I don't know, but being Jewish just makes this so strange and...

Oh, it's just so WRONG!

There needs to be a hanging your head emoticon. There also needs to be a removing your glasses and pinching the bridge of your nose emoticon. That would be appropriate here.

Crapola! I'm not immune to K-boyband charm either (well, I like Superjunior...)

At least it helps our students remember the days of the week!

Likely inspired by the "Mazeltov" line in that Black Eyed Peas song.

If they wanna crack into the Israeli Disco market, well, good luck to them.
But Arab scene is much bigger and surely having a yiddish word in it will shut many doors.

I just had a vision. How are second grade middle school students going to pronounce this name?

Mah-jjull-toppuu.

Cue slap head emoticon.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe the saying will become as big in Korea as peace signs in photographs. In any case, seeing a Korean boyband named that is Laughing

Ok, I get what you are saying, but to be accurate, it says Mazelto, not Mazeltov.

And did you see their first album is.... "Nativity" ?

Actually it's been spelled both ways. Mazelto on the art work, but mazeltov in the video title. I think they don't even know how to spell it. Sigh. How can I combine Konglish and Yiddish?Kongliddish?

Is the album really Nativity? I guess they can't choose a religion to sing about.

Yeah... really needing that face palm

I have mixed feelings on the popularity of this song. I'm glad that it's not that popular because it's absolutely terrible... and yet if it was insanely popular (eg. Tell Me), all my kids would know the lyrics and would make my Day of the Week lesson a lot easier.
