SMOE=instant friends. I'm not being sarcastic. The orientation is great be as social as possible and you'll be cool.

orientation was like college. you meet pick you social group and usually hang out with them for the year. if you are cool, you will be able to mesh with most of the groups.

Miss Julia, You will be able to pick and choose your friends once at orientation. You will be sharing a room so there are two immediate friends. Then at the orientation most people will be in the same boat as you. You can hang out with the guy wearing the suit and carrying the briefcase, the girl from toronto with the big hair who keeps talking, the Gyopo guy who lets everyone know he 'knows what it is like' to have a Korean girlfriend or if you are feeling adventurous you could make friends with the guy who carries the rugby ball around everyday. You can make friends no problem.

You'll make friends easy....granted, over the year, you'll likely drift into other social groups and friends....some of the guys from orientation still hang out in the same groups.

And if you like getting wasted regularly, then you won't have a problem at all.

It's kind of sad, but that's the absolute truth.
