|
|
Hey guys,
My girl and I used to watch movies we'd download at wedisk.co.kr. But I got a new computer with English windows, and now the subtitles don't show up in Korean (just OOOOO).
Can someone tell me how I can download whatever is needed to watch these movies? I think it's a... coda? Or something? Any websites and moron-friendly directions will be very much appreciated.
Thanks. |

Maybe you need the Asian Languages pack for Windows installed? |

I use VLC media player - plays most any format and will allow external subtitle files.
Get it at www.videolan.org
For the subtitles themselves, I go to http://gom.gomtv.com/jmdb/noResult.html
and download the ones that match the movie I want to watch. It's rare not to
find them, but it does happen. When it does, I can usually find another version
and wickey them up using any of various (free) subtitle editor programs |

I actually like gomplayer from gomtv - it can do the searching and automatically loading of subtitles for you.
But since it only runs on windoze I don't use it very often. I'm a Linux geek |

depending on the program you're using, you might need to change the unicode fallback language to Korean as well. I need to do that if I want to use media player, but since I have to do that for a few korean games which don't have their fonts done properly, its no big deal. |
