I'm coming to Korea at the end of the month and will be living in Pyeongtaek. I was hoping that some people had some information on the city!

Pyeongtaek is a strange mushroom. Unlike most dark things exposed to the light, it has flourished but not without it's characteristic fungal secrets tagging along.

The fact that such a place is allowed to exist under the penetrating eye of the Creator is just fine, just fine.

Particulars: those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. They won't, and you'll toss no bones in there either. The Yak-n-Everest Nepalese Restaurant a few yards from the subway station has some of the best nan in Korea, though. Try to befriend someone from Sri Lanka. They make good friends.
