do you think i'd ask this question if i could just walk into a convenience store and buy vegemite?
you got nothing constructive to add, so feel free to be stupid somewhere else. |

It is where it should be: outside of the country.
I would implement a policy that all vegimite carrying vessels be sunk on site to avoid contamination.
God that stuff is horrible...
Sorry for any offense. |

Mate, I get my mum to send me a big shipment of it every few months. One thing you'll quickly learn as an expat is that outside of cosmopolitan metropoli the likes of London or Bangkok, its as rare as rocking horse poo. |

Hilarious!
Did you make that phrase up, or is it a family favourite? |

The 2.5kg tub ought to get you sorted....
Never dealt with them but you might want to give them a try. Perhaps crazylemongirl has used them. |

Family favourite. My old man is a former shearer and has some interesting phrases under his belt. |

| Have the Aussies had their taste-buds burned off? It's not enough that their form of English is virtually indecipherable to other English speakers. Their reputation as male chauvinist pigs precedes them. The only people eating at McDonalds in Thailand are the locals (because it's different), and Aussies (because it's the same). Yes, I tasted that vegemite once; that's not food. It's what we feed to the cows, and then we eat the cows. (They do produce a decent wine, though.) |

CLG once said that she bought some at the grey market just inside the entrance of Hannam Market. If they don't carry it anymore, maybe they still deal with the importer and can ship you some. The underground import markets of Namdaemun always have loads of imported sauces where you might see vegemite.
Total long shot, but you could always pay a visit to the Australian Embassy one day and talk to embassy staff if they know of any places to buy it in Korea. Many people in embassies and their families have been here for years and often might have more leads on stuff like this than the teaching community. |

ha ha, that actually made me laugh.
But seriously, the convience store on the first floor of my appartment sells Vegemite. I live in Seoul if that makes any difference.
And this is a mom and pop store, not some Family Mart or Buy the Way.
Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilll man! |

to this crazy coolsage character (what a complete tosser!)
I am very interested to know what is your point taking it out on Aussies for some reason? I read your post on their it was quite pathetic and lame to say what you said. Lucky people from Australia know they come from the best country in the world. I would love to know where you come from and trolling to start whatever you want to start for some reason? None of what you said makes any sense. Maybe in the trailer park you live in, with your two teeth (lucky to have the two teeth) country you live in then you would be a legend.
good luck to you |
