I was trying to reserve tickets to Pusan later this month on the English website and couldn't figure out how to do it (couldn't actually get to a screen where I could buy them). If I reserve on the Korean site can I reserve with an alien number and foreign credit card? Or is this still not possible?
Thanks! |

The website won't let you reserve tickets over 1 week in advance.. Try later. |

Go to www.korail.com
select the english tab at the top right,
go to the top center scrool over booking,
select book online,
choose you date, departure and destination, train type number of passengers etc...
click inquiry,
a list of trains should show up
select your preference and it should take you to a page asking for your name, sex, passport number, nationality, and e-mail.
After that I'm not sure. |

I go to the station. You can get them way in advance there.
I have always hated the Korail website. It is way to difficult to use for foreigners. It is another reason the tourism industry in Korea is 2nd rate. |

Are you kidding me people? The KTX website is so simple and easy to use. Just make sure that after you reserve it, you print the confirmation and BRING IT WITH YOU! I didn't once and that caused me to miss the train because the KTX people couldn't find my reservation. |
