my school is saying that the district office may have never dealt with etickets before and that's why they're havig trouble reimbursing me. anyone else have this experience/? i'm leaving in two days, kinda would like my money paid by tomorrow..

I had same probs two years back. I had to provide e-itinerary, e-invoice, e-ticket PLUS a copy of my c/card statement proving purchase PLUS they wanted to call the travel agent lol.... At first they were saying they would only reinburse me when they had boarding pass etc whic they wanted me to mail them after I left. No f'ing way... I got it in the end but very stressful.....

seriously? god damnit, i had to have a friend puchase the ticket because my korean CC wouldn't work on american sites. there's no way i could get all that stuff in time for tomorrow.

also did you get reimbursed before leaving?

Yes I did, but I was extremely forceful and did not give any quarter.... I tried my handler, then my VP, the Principal and finally the GEPIK co-ordinator at the time and finally the VP came through for me...

Never just take the word of your handler....

I was wondering about this too. What's the best way to go when organising the flight refund etc with EPIK and do you get the bonus for finishing the contract included in your last pay?

I booked my flight for a holiday at home months ago, so I have the itinerary and e-ticket ready. Would like to arrange the refund so I have it when I get home.
