8 Months Left!!

Looking forward to spending time in Philippines, Thailand, and if possible would love to make it back to South America. Most likely will have to replenish the $$$ after a trip to Philippines & Thailand.

The main thing.. 8 MONTHS LEFT!! (Seems like a long ways off, but the previous 4 months went by pretty fast)

I have a bit more than 5 month left on this contract, and I plan on staying for years. I don't know why, but I really, honestly don't want to leave Korea. It is a bit of everything, I guess, but I love the place. Even bad days are become something of an interesting event after some years here.

I've still got FAR FAR FAR too long left on my current contract.
Just bought a dog today also so getting out of here seems a long way off. I guess I'm in nesting mode or something.
When I do escape I have a friend who's on my case to split the cost of renting a house in Ecuador or Guatemala for 6 months to a year. Mostly just hang - not travel so much. Sounds appealing.

Then become a slave to the grind...er, to the educational system back in Canada (Middle school teaching background). This move should be permanent. I'd like to get into administration or else the Minstry of Education at some point--teaching kids just isn't a calling for me.

Heh--maybe so. Smile Like that bad Bond movie, "Never say never again"

But if I do come back I'll have a house and car I'll have to get rid of first... Sad

6.5 months left to go... can't wait 'til I'm on the other side of six months when it's less time to go than what I've done... then probably a holiday somewhere warm and nice (Boracay?) and then hubby and I will either a) head to Japan or b) start a European adventure in Moscow and see what happens from there or c) all of the above Very Happy

7.5 months, which will hopefully go as fast as the past 4.

Then I am going home for 3 - 4 weeks, travel round, visiting family and friends, in the north and south islands. Then i am heading off to England, and will do releif teaching work for the next two years, and will travel round Europe in the school holidays. Should be grand. Also the money will be fabulous. You get around 120 pounds a day doing relief work. Granted it is casual, but the demand for teachers is incredible, as apparently the English students are animals! No offence of course to english school kids. But my teaching tutor said last year, that it's like sending lambs off to the wolves. But hey, it will be fun, and they have cheese, and real brown bread over there. Also i have two weddings in July - one in England, and one in Scotland.
