anyone have any recommendations? closer to Gangnam the better.

I heard there`s a 1 or 2 decent ones in Apgujeong but no clue of their names or exact whereabouts.

Hmm, there's a good one called the Watercock in Hongdae. Real cozy.

There is one in Itaewon my friend loves, but I've never been.

There are 2 in Hyehwa: Jazz Cafe and Jazz Story. Both are in the theater district (behind exits 1 and 2). Jazz Cafe is a block behind Kraze Burger, and Jazz Story is on the way to Di Matteo and the Swiss fondue restaurant.

THere's a fairly good one in Naksongdae called 'Mo Better Blues Bar'. Hard to find, small, mostly koreans few expats, but good. Good stage setup.
