Hey, I am looking at buying some items off of Gmarket. I am looking at a couch, and possibly a tv stand or coffee table. When do they ship? I work most the week (monday-friday 10AM to 6PM). Would I need to leave my apartment open so they can put it in there? Or would I have to find a way to get it to my apartment myself? |

I ordered a few things from G-Market. I bought a decent sized chair and they just left it downstairs with the old fart that watches television all day. I think if they deliver it, they will just leave it outside your apartment or with the worthless porter. You could also leave a note or have a Korean friend write a note giving them some specific orders. |

They deliver on Saturday, too.
Your best bet is to order your item on Thursday and you should receive it on Saturday. |

You can message the seller and ask him to ship it so it is delivered on Saturday. Or, in the 배송요구사항 (er, Options for shipping/To the delivery guy) box, ask to have it delievered on Saturday since you work every weekday. |

If it`s not too big then sent it to your workplace or school. |

I've ordered quite a bit from Gmarket and I always had it shipped on Saturday. They will also call before they deliver. It only took about 2-3 days for each item. I had my Korean friend type it in to the delivery message and put down his cell number so he could call me before it was delivered, but still - it worked great. |

I have another question, most things say "fee upon delivery" if you are not there to get the package how do you pay for delivery? This may sound like a stupid question but I am probably not going to be home when the deliver it... how does this work? |

One time I was not there and they left it with my apartment manager. They said they would come back to pick up the money. |

I ordered a chair and had them deliver after 4.30. The guy rang me when he was there. |
