I bought a new digital camera here just under a month ago (not that expensive- about 250,000KRW) and last week it was dropped on its lens.
Anyway, the lens is now bent and the camera doesn't work at all. If I send it to Sony to repair, they will charge 200,000won to fix the lens. I didn't drop the camera myself and I really hate to spend that kind of money getting it fixed.
Is anyone familiar with a place anywhere in Seoul maybe where I could take it and have it repaired for a lesser price? If so, I would be very grateful! |

If you only bought it a month ago, and if it's from a legitimate place, you can bring it to a shop (sony Korea) in the country and they'll oft fix it for you for free or for a low price.
My 6-year-old camera was a bit wobbly (the wheel menu didn't rotate properly) and I brought it in, and whilst they didn't take it apart and fix it totally, they did SOMETHING to it that fixed it more or less so it's running like new again. After 5 years and at least 10 months of use, and I even told them (the shop workers) as much.
I guess if it's completely bent and not working, it might cost some more but that's what the A/S is for, right? |
