The lady has been bugging me about going to hot springs for awhile now so I want to take her to one for our upcoming anniversary.
I live in Seoul but would like to get out of the city to visit the hot springs. Not looking to travel more than 2 hours by bus or train as I want to make this a day trip.
So far, I have mostly been looking at these two spots:
Asan Spavis

and
Icheon Termeden
http://english.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/SI/SI_EN_3_1_1_1.jsp?cid=583142
If you've been to these places I'd like to hear about them. Or, if you know of any other hot springs/spas within 2 hours of Seoul I'd like to hear about them too.
Thanks. |

Been to Termeden. Loved it.
The pool is half inside and half out, with plastic blinds you swim through.
Before you go to the pool, there is a typical spa set-up that is in most saunas.
However, I found the spas very relaxing and different. There is a small sauna room next to the spa pools and there is even 2 or 3 outside pools of varying colours and aromas. This was the mens spas, so I reckon the females was similar. Ok food served there too, but pretty typical as far as choices went.
The other spa baths look lovely, so I'll try and go sometime. |

Thanks Ken. Do you think it would be a good place to go with the girlfriend? Did you just go by yourself? |
