So I'm really interested in applying to the EPIK program for the August/September start period, but when the application process starts in March (right?) I'll actually be completing my last semester of university.
I know that my diploma will take a few months to get, and that I can provide a written letter of graduation from my school so long as I arrive with my diploma for orientation. However, I'm wondering if I will have enough time at the end of May to get all my documents in order, notarized, apostilled, and sent off before the deadline.
Basically: has anyone here done it successfully? During your interview, was your interviewer accepting that you were still technically finishing your degree? Would they be edgy to higher someone who doesn't for sure have a diploma when the interview is conducted (ie: should I apply when it's a sure deal in May? Would there even be spots open at that point?)
Generally I'd really like to leave for the September slot since my loans will come due in November, but I'd like to know my chances before I start running around. |
