If Dr. Kombu was indeed Korean, is it unreasonable for me to think that upon arrival I'll be able to find someone somewhere with a scoby I can have/buy? I've got a real heart for Kombucha and I want to be able to brew my own when I get to SK (in 4 weeks?! YIKES).
Anyone already doing this, or have any info about it?

| i've been looking for the same thing to no avail.. i've been making my own ginger beer instead. if you want some of my starter i can give you some. |
