That's right. NEVER work past the date. If they insist you do, then talk to immigration about it. If they won't pay you, read EFL-LAW.com and contact the labor board.
If you stick around in Korea, you need to get an extension. There is no "grace period" after the final day on your visa.
I'm not sure if you can get a temporary extention that allows for working at the hagwon, or not. I bet it can be done, with your boss's help. |
