Buyer Beware: I just got back from making the 1 hour trek to Seoul from Suwon to meet 'jellobean' and purchase some carpets.... and what an interesting experience it was. She was initally helpful and friendly. We discussed price and items to be purchased, finally agreed on a fair deal, and I paid her cash. Afterward, I carried rugs, and she carried some light shelves down to my van. After packing my van up, she decides that the agreed upon amount WHICH I ALREADY PAID HER wasn't good enough, and she demanded 10000 Won more. I couldn't believe it. I politely discussed the issue with her, and listened to her whining. She even admitted it was her mistake, but refused to accept responsibility. I even offered to comprise with her by offering 5000 Won more, and she still carried like a little baby to the point of finally asking for her stuff back, which was ALREAY INSIDE MY VAN.
One may ask: Well, didn't you discuss approximate prices before going all the way to Seoul? The answer is yes, I did, through a handful of text messages I sent her. Strange though, the message I sent her beforehand with the price range info on it is the one she claims she never received, though she even showed me every other message I sent her. hmmm..
Still interested in doing business with jellybean? If I were you, I would strongly reconsider. She may just change her mind after YOU pay her, too. Nobody wants that hassle, I sure didn't. And besides, there are plenty of other people selling stuff on Daves anyway. So strange how she doesn't post any prices on stuff advertised, either. Now I think I know why. |

I just bought a vacuum from her last night. I paid 10,000, she assured me that it worked and she had tested it. When I brought it home and attempted to use it I found that the vacuum had nearly no suction. I ripped up some paper into tiny pieces and sprinkled them on the ground. This thing had trouble picking those up.
Terrible deal. Has not responded to texts since the purchase. |

| Brooksmatic: sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience w/ jellybrain. it's funny tho, cuz yesterday, she told ME the vacuum wasn't for sale--- how do you like that?!! i'm starting to truly believe that jellybean actually does have jelly for a brain. we're really quite a small foreigner poulation here in Korea, and somewhat close-knit on the web, so why does she believe she can get away with trying to CHEAT and LIE to more than one of us when she still has more sell? seriously, something must be wrong with this chick. |

Seriously? Who buys a vacuum cleaner without at least plugging it in for a few seconds and trying it out? No offense brooksmatic, but jeez - what were ya thinking? |
