I have just been asked to provide information about the 'training' or workshops that I've attended.
Other than the meet and greet events that occured after starting work I didn't participate in anything. Nothing resembling 'how to be a native teacher' was in evidence at those.
Did anyone get training before they started working in the GEPIK system?
Did anyone get a certificate or other evidence from any event organised by GEPIK?
I feel sorry for my co-worker. Getting ridiculous requests for information about the NT which aren't relevant, but which give her something to do, just to make sure she doesn't have any downtime. Gee our jobs are easy by comparison!
Time to read the paper! |

| I experienced the same thing yesterday. My Korean coworker asked me for certificates from GEPIK conferences and workshops I attended over the past year. However, no such certificates for attendance were ever handed out! So now we have to pour over the records and signed documents allowing me time off work to attend them to report my attendance. |

It's because it's that time of the year again when they're taking tabs on all their foreign teachers, lol.
So they make them fill out this huge packet of information for...I don't know what. |
