Hello,

Does anyone have any information on or perhaps work at, or send your children to a bilingual school in Korea? My child is approaching school age. I would like my child to have strong literacy skills in both Korean and English. We will likely be leaving Korea within a few years, but will start schooling here. I'm having a hard time finding information regarding any type of bilingual schools, but I've heard there are at least three in existence. Can anyone provide any information? Much appreciated...

If you do get some helpful answers, please let me know, in case you get them through PMs.

Originally, I thought I would have left Korea by the time my first one would start school, but it seems more likely than ever now that she'll start school in Korea.

I work at what is considered an "immersion" elementary school. Kids get about half of their day in English instruction including math, science, social studies, PE, and a wide range of language arts.

There are 2 other schools in the Sungbuk-gu area (north of Daehangno) that offer similar programs. Hit me up via PM and I'll forward more details on to you.
