Hi all,
I've moved up north to a job in Cheonan.
I was previously in Jeollanamdo.
Just wondering how cold does it actually get in winter up here?
Does it regularly reach -15C? Does it ever hit -20 up here? The max down there was about -12, perhaps -13 to 14 on a really bad day.
I don't mind ( I love the cold) but the missus can't stand it.

| It's a shame the only other city for that climate chart is Busan, which is a lot milder than Gwangju because of its coastal location. The differences between Busan and Seoul are bloomin huge in the winter! Going to be a long harsh winter up here! |

| Up here in Incheon it rarely drops below -10 in the winter, but it can get a few degrees colder as you go inland. You'll probably have more days where the temperature stays below freezing than down in Jeolla, but it shouldn't drop below -10 too often, and certainly not below -15. |
