My boyfriend and I will be making our first trip to Seoul over the long weekend at the beginning of April, and I'm not really sure what to do there. I'd like to find a rave or techno club at night, and maybe take a group tour of the touristy-type sites during the day. Does anyone know where I can find a club or tour guide?

Any other suggestions for cheap, fun things to do or places to stay would be appreciated, too.

hongdae (hongik university) are where the clubs are at.

Go to some palaces. Take a walk around olympic park. hang gang river cruise. Hit the malls (coex, lotte world etc). If you can find a KNTO office, they produce really good tourist guides of korea.

Someone recommended a place called Heaven this Saturday night for techno. Has anyone ever been there?

There is a party this Saturday night at Heaven but its not techno. Its all house with a POS dnb/hip hop Dj thrown in.

But if you like that... its only 10k entry and they're promising FREE tequila shots all night.

Nothing but House parties this weekend.. including a pretty big one at the Fashion Centre in Gangnam... 30k entry.

Don't expect a traditional "rave" atmosphere at any of these btw...
