A volunteer group here in Seoul, PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity & Respect) is having a performance benefit in Hongdae this Saturday! We are raising funds for our group & will have a variety of performances, such as salsa dancers, fire dancing, Black Bag (a Korean band), a Latin band, Reggae band, belly dancing & more! Also, the #1 Salsa couple of 2009 in Korea will be there & perform their winning routine! Tickets are 10,000W in advance or 12,000 at the door & include a 4000W voucher for a free drink.
A bit more about our group: we do weekly activities with the homeless population (every Friday we help out at a soup kitchen & every Sunday we buy & pass out food to homeless people around Seoul Station). Once a month we take a daytrip & go to an orphanage in Eumsong & do activities with the children there. If you interested in helping us out, check out our Facebook page!
