Hi everyone,
This may be a stupid question but what is the point of using a korean travel agent for purchasing plane tickets when sites like orbitz, expedia offer rates for cheap airlines like asiana, korean air, ect.

I found the travel agent in which offered me an great price on an airline. I know because I called that same airline and they told me they could not offer that same rate because it was a travel agents special deal. There are some restrictions that come with this deal. Cool

Yes travel agents sell cheaper than if you buy directly from some airlines. BUt buying from Orbitz , expedia ect.. is still cheaper than the above 2 in many cases. In my case the only airline that i can buy from directly that has decent prices is air canada. However , 95% of the time i save a few hundred $$ buying from places like orbitz or flightnetwork.
