If you are lucky, they may even wait until after orientation to tell you they have all their positions filled.

Thank you so much for this. That whole element of uncertainty in the SMOE Orientation is down right nerve wracking.

That probably means they will take people to church on Sunday morning. Nothing to get alarmed about.

i agree about the uncertainty. however the op doesnt hire and fire. also even though ive been here in korea a short while and have teaching experience + tefl etc. i found his lectue to be really useful. i was at the august orientation. his resources that he showed were superb and make me such a better (and prouder) teacher than i was before. its good to see the man cares about this to post the link. i wish i'd seen it before i went. and yeah, the religious thing this year was just a church service being made available.
