hey guys has anyone come back to korea after you were away for awhile, was there problems with contracts or anything if you didn't finish your first year... if you got a offer later on can you get a new contract with no problems?

Thanks.

Once you sign your contract, you are pretty much committed to it for the year. That's because your school is the master of your visa (sponsor).

And due to the huge oversupply of teachers here, an employer would have no trouble finding a reliable employee who finishes their contracts and would shy away from hiring someone who doesn't finish contracts.

Assuming you pulled a runner last time, please put in much more research into a company before you sign your year away this time. Talk to present and past teachers at that school.
