I took Panda's advice and decided to start a new topic concerning this VITAL issue. With all the garbage about how to get a Korean chick (or any other chick for that matter) why not just hook up with a chick here?? Now much to Panda's disappointment I am already married and I am not seeking any affair/affairs. Let's not sugarcoat it lady - it's called adultery. Get with the program Panda but it would be funny/awesome if a section was here on Dave's to meet people for such purposes.

I doubt this would work, however. Internet forums are not exactly where a lot of folks hook up. Well, grammar Nazi's do mate through forums, but that is only because they are a form of frog.

Good job, Oliventia I am supportive.

Its ESL cafe but which doesn't mean dating is irrelevant to ESL teachers. Also, besides dating, there are friends you want to meet on Dave's, or maybe you are looking for someone who have the same hobbies ( I remember I read the thread someone was looking for writers, classic music players, etc). Facebook is good, but Dave's is more open and user friendly. The most important thing is, its free and voluntary, you don't share your information if you dont want.

If this thread got banned, then I can't understand why wouldn't those alcoholic threads do.

I would suggest Olivencia edit your post, choose a better title, make a list of information so that the following posters then can post in a unified form, you might also initiate a poll to see what people are looking for here. I would love to see this thread last as long as some other threads on Dave's .

I think it is not a good idea.
I think people here would be fun to hang out with, but for hooking up- there are too many ways for people to hook up in Korea w/o having to rely on Dave's.
