I was wondering which book you have successfully used with Korean males aged 35+. The class is just for conversation, so business books won't do. I've considered Top Notch, which worked very well for my ajumma class in the past.

Interchange is alright too. they love doing the haggling/flea market section.
Actually just last night one of the Infinity Challenge type shows had the crew in an English village practicing English. They're favorite part was asking for discounts...saying "Oh My God" etc.

If they're high level and like controversial subjects to get fired up, check out "Small Group Discussion Topics for Korean Students" by Jack Martire. You can get it at Kyobo for 11,000 won. It has a blue cover and covers a wide range of topics from society to politics to technology.

Substitute Bado for poker and makgolli for magkolli and beer or soju and you just described one of my perfect sundays!!!! I'll keep the pig's head in the mix.

New Interchange is the best series of conversation texts for teaching high school or above hands down in my opinion.
