Yes, those looked pretty bad indeed. What does the one say about Sony and Alisha? |

They weren't all bad.
I get confused these days. Does bad mean 'bad' or 'good' in this OP?
Anyway talking about bad (the actual meaning of the word, not the hip hop meaning) tats, I've seen a few. Most of them on young women who thought it was cool to get one of those 'small of the back so it shows when I'm wearing low sitting pants and my arse crack hangs out' tatoos.
Little did they know every other 20 - 30 female was gewtting one too and it would become common.
I also have a bad tattoo (as in not good.) I was young when I got it, only 20. I keep meaning to get it covered with a better one or add adornments to it (it's of a wild animal, so possible some jungle flowers or foiliage around it could brighten and liven it up) but never get round to it.
I forget I actually have it most of the time until someone mentions it.
I think the baddest (as in not good) tats are small of back on girls, any celtic bands and overly convoluted one's some people design themselves (you know it will have a combo of symbols form various culture's mythology, a chinese hanja and some cryptic wording etc, all in colours that don't match...) Just my opinion, feel free to flame me.
The best (or baddest, but bad = good) in my opinion are girls with butterfly tats near the belly button and basically most Japanese designs on guys or girls. I sometiems think I'd really like a japanese style one on my back with sakura and a landscape but Id feel silly as it might look stupid on a pale white guy... |

But my question is, can you correctly define tramp stamps? I mean, what if it's a pic of a girl's dead mother or a country's flag....that's quite another thing than the proverbial butterfly on the small of the back.
Is it the location or the content of the tattoo that makes it tramp-worthy? |

I'm going with location. It's the following of the herd and lack of originality.
Yeah, I'm an a'hole, and apols if you have one... |

In '97, when I lived in dorm in Newfoundland, a girl came bouncing into the room during a party to show off her new tattoo. Right across the top of her chest, below her neck: 'Marilyn Manson' in goth lettering. "Marilyn Manson will always be cool!" |

I'm sure she's not regretting that AT ALL now. |

I'd have to agree with what Ozzy said to his daughter: "If you want to be original, don't get a tattoo." |
