This past summer I was searching for replacement earrings throughout Seoul. All I could find was cheap, Chinese made metal earrings in Hongdae. I recently went back to the U.S. and purchased about 16 pairs of GREAT quality Natural earrings made from Stone (Tiger Eye, Tiger Iron, Lapis, Tibet Agate and a possibly man made one called Opalite); Bamboo, Amber, and Wood (Bloodwood, Ebony, Cocobolo). I went to the stores in Hongdae to see if they were interested in selling them for me, or buying them outright, luckily for you, they were not.

I am selling these individually, or in pairs (if I still have 2). Check out the pictures on photobucket. Price is 50,000 Won each. They are sized between 2g, 0g, 00g, and 7/16. All are beautiful, and worth it, especially if you want to upgrade to something new and different.

I am a bit confused.

If you were looking so hard for them and had to resort to going home to getting them, why are you selling them now?

Also - are these earrings for men........or do you have to have enormous holes to put them in?!

Sorry for the confusion. Actually the earrings are probably more for men than for women as I don't often see women with thick earrings. Mine are various sizes. I wear a 2g (2 guage) in m left ear, and a 0g (0 guage) in my right. Yes, they are big.

The reason that I am selling them is that I bought a few pairs for myself, and thought I should buy more to bring back, since the quality cannot be found in Korea. So I purchased various different earrings, in various sizes for people here, who had the same problem finding them in Korea.

Think about it this way, the 2g are about the size of standard pencil erasers and the 7/16 are about the size of a dime (U.S. 10 cent coin). Piercing is becoming more and more common in Korea, and I just thought it would be a good idea to bring more back with me.

Are you still confused?

No. Thanks for the clarification.

May be I am old school, I kinda associate earrings for women. Perhaps you'd like to ID that in your subject.

No problems Tzechuk. I have had my ears pierced for MANY years. Seems like it is a growing trend in Korea, kinda like tattoos. Things are surely changing.

I met with a tattoo artist this weekend and he is interested in purchasing all the earrings for 1,400,000 won. That comes out to 40,000 each. I told him I had to re-post with a discount and give Daves Esl members one last week. I will discount the earrings to 40,000 each, or 75,000 for a pair (if I still have 2).

Let me know this week if you are interested.

You can also email me [email protected]

Thanks for looking.
