| My contract ends one month before the end of the semester for the coming year. For many reasons I'd like to extend my contract to the end of the academic semester. Is this possible? Has anybody heard about this? I've asked Dain but she takes a long time to respond. Thanks in advance. |

one month before classes end or one month before the next semester begins?
if it's the latter, it's not likely they'll extend so they can pay you for mostly deskwarming during vacation.
if it it's the former, then it would be a great act of generosity and an example of your dedication to your students that is sure to go unnoticed by your managers. hopefully they have the sense to accept your offer, but sometimes offers like these are rejected for reasons unknown. |

| It's a month before the end of the semester. So I teach kids for roughly three months, get them ready for a test, and then go home right when the going gets rough. That doesn't suit my personality. I haven't contacted my superiors about it yet, just wonderin' if anybody else has experience with this. I'll keep y'all posted. |
