| Interested to know more about the Kia Carens, the newer 07-09 models. I know they run on LPG, and i have not seen a place to put any other forms of fuel in the car, which is why the LPG button in the car has me slightly confused. I have yet to find any information on this, nor can i find the manuals on line. Anyone have this information? |

I've owned a Carens for almost 3 years.
The LPG button is a little confusing. Basically, if you turn it off, the engine will stop working. So, as the salesman explained to my wife and I, never turn it off!! Why it's there, I really don't know.
Great car, though. Runs smooth and never a problem. |

| You are to turn off the LPG button when the weather gets to about -10C then it activates the heater to warm up the LPG because it freezes at a warmer temp then does gas. |

The LPG button regulates your flow of gas to the engine.
When you fill up your gas tank, you should turn off the LPG.
In the winter, you should turn off the LPG before you turn off the engine, wait for the engine to die, and then turn off the ignition, clearning the gas line of gas as it contracts or expands (I don't know, one or the other) in cold temperatures.
It's there as a safety measure. |

| All Korean cars suck. There are no exceptions to this rule. |
