Anyone tried the waffle/Pancake place in Apgujeong? It is near the Designer's Club/BK that has the Giant gorilla climbing on it. It is about a minute down the side street by the BK. I think its kind of a blue color place.
I saw it and have been considering going, but if someone has tried it and found it to be crap, I'll save myself the trip. |

Do you mean Butterfinger Pancakes?
If so, the food is good, but expensive and you often have to wait for ages. If you don't mind either, then it's worth going, they have lots of other breakfast options too. There's also one at Gangnam Station. |

Yeah that is it. I had walked by it, and it seemed packed, but I didn't know if it was packed for a good reason or not.
Thanks! |

I went to Butterfinger in Jeongja last week. It was REALLY good, but as another poster mentioned, expensive. I was especially surprised to see that the glass of orange juice I ordered was 7,700 won.
Oh, and the 10% tax on everything made me feel like I was back home
Anyway, it's expensive, but man, it's GOOD. |

To be fair though the portions are quite large, they're using real butter, real cheese, fresh veggies. The salad is ginormous. A small price to pay for the REAL DEAL. Love that place, don't even want to consider what the calorie count is though. |

Just curious, what's got you interested in this place over the hundreds (thousands?) of other waffle places around Seoul?
Btw, I had a surprisingly good pancake at some small cafe in Insadong. I'll update my post with more info when I go back. |

Mainly because it looked like a real restaurant, it's reasonably big, and it was very busy when I went by it at around 11 am on a weekday morning. I've seen plenty of waffle booths all over seoul...most of them aren't that great. A few are okay. I've got a decent one near me..but I was hoping to get some decent pancakes with some syrup. |

The portion size, the taste and the real syrup. You could easily spend the same amount at some other brunch cafe eg. Flying Pan Blue and come away unsatisfied. Butterfingers is consistently good. Expensive but worth it for a gut busting breakfast/brunch, etc. |

There's also place in Rodeo (in Apgu); I think it's called All Day Breakfast or something like that. Don't know if it's still there but it's a buffet that's pretty good. Very expensive though. It was a little more than 20,000 per person. |
