|
|
I have not yet graduated, and I reported my final GPA (that is, the GPA I am going to have when I graduate), not the GPA that is on my sealed transcripts that are going to EPIK now. What is on the transcripts: 2.5; what I will be graduating with: 2.7. Do you think the person who interviewed me will be reviewing my stuff, or will it be more like a packet that flows through a system? I know the score is below average, so no need to comment on it-- plenty of people in school who lose their brains striving for the perfect number (not to say I wouldn't have benefited from caring more about grades earlier on in my college career). I also have my TEFL certification. I want to feel secure in this position... but, I thought I would see what the opinions are. Shoot. |

Horror scenario:
K-bureaucrat with keen eye sees a discrepancy between your transcript and degree GPA's. Smells a rat and calls in environmental health inspectors. |

What do you mean by this "horror scenario?" I mean, do you think they will care that my GPA is lower than I said it was? I meant to say it was my final GPA, not current, but I didn't spit it out that way. |

Dream Scenario:
An over-worked K-bureaucrat rubber-stamps your application through and you're on your way to ESL Korean style. |
