So I'm in a bit of a pickle. I ordered the name-based background check from the state police, however they just now informed me that they can only notarize finger-print based checks. I had my fingerprints taken several years ago for AmeriCorps, and three checks all came back unreadable (I have very faint prints). Apparently the willingness to only notarize fingerprint checks is a state thing. So my question is, if I try the fingerprint check and it still comes back unreadable, can I have a check done in a different state? |

Hi,
I am a musician actress (small roles) and a teacher. My fingerprints are almost non-existent. The police tell me to use lots of hand lotion and then do it. Also, you can talk to the head person & explain that you did the prints 3 times & they will magically push it through.
You will love being in K land. I am studying and teaching here, kind of a sabbatical for me. There is not much work in Hollywood or in the music world with the econ. Enjoy |
